Neymar Jr. in the pitch for another ‘El Clásico’
Two Giants take the fields this Saturday (2) to one of the greatest classics of world football. Another 'El Clásico' between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will be held, bringing together the two rival crowds to Camp Nou. Neymar Jr. is no longer a novice in the classic and heads to his seventh match against the team.
On the pitch, the Barça’s number 11 met Real Madrid back in 2013. In his first game against Real, on October 26 of 2013, the Catalans were the best at Camp Nou, winning by 2-1 with goals from Neymar Jr. and Alexis Sánchez. Iniesta burst into the penalty area and made an accurate pass for the Brazilian playmaker, on the left, to cut his markers and score.
In his second classic, on March 23 of 2014, also marking his debut at the Bernabéu stadium, the situation was much more difficult for Barcelona. Both teams made a tense match, in which resulted in a 4-3 victory for the Culé, with a goal from Iniesta and three goals from Messi (Two made from penalties).
In NJr’s third 'El Clásico' he didn’t score and also saw his team being defeated in the 2013/2014 King's Cup by 2 to 1. The match was held in Mestalla, in Valencia and the Azulgrana team’s goal was scored by Bartra.
Back to Santiago Bernabéu, on October 25 of 2014, Real Madrid guaranteed another victory, by 3-1, but it was Neymar Jr. who scored for Barça. The athlete dominated the ball that came from a cross on the right, invaded the area, cutting the defenders and kicked to score.
Now with the MSN Trio, two great consecutive victories followed in the 2015 classics. The first, by 2-1, at the Camp Nou, with goals from Mathieu and Suárez. The second, in Bernabéu, a big win by 4-0, with two goals from Suárez, one from Iniesta and the third from Neymar Jr. Iniesta made the pass and the number 11 kicked the ball under the goalkeeper.
The game is certainly one of the most anticipated duels of the year. For Neymar Jr., it’s his seventh great classic of Spain. The star enters the field with a team of giants prepared to face 11 other giants. There were four victories so far, but who emerges victorious this time?
