Brazil faces Ecuador for 2018’s World Cup qualifiers
After shining with the Olympic Team, Neymar Jr. and his teammates return for the main National Brazilian Team for their first duel post-Olympics. The team is in Quito, training for the game against Ecuador, this Thursday (1), at the Estádio Olímpico Atahualpa, by 18h (Brazilian time).
The duel is valid for the South American 2018 qualifiers, in Russia. Brazil is in sixth place and the new coach Tite, in his first match on the command of the team, has a mission of putting the group in a better position, guaranteeing the qualification for the future competition.
This will be Neymar Jr.’s first match in Ecuador and the third time he’ll face their National Team. The player remains undefeated against the adversary and already adds up to two goals and one assistance. The duel also marks NJr’s first game since the 2-2 draw against Uruguay, back in March.
