Barcelona trains to face Villarreal in La Liga

Without time for a breather, the FC Barcelona has already been training with the focus on its next duel. This Sunday (8), Neymar Jr. and his teammates will face Villarreal at 14h45, for the Spanish Championship’s 17th round. And the game is once again outside home, this time at El Madrigal stadium.

Last Thursday, Barcelona made an intense game against Athletic Bilbao for the Copa del Rey, but ended up losing the match by 2-1. Right in the following day, Luis Enrique placed his squad to train for the first La Liga game of the year.

In this 17th La Liga round, Barcelona steps into the pitch as the second place in the chart, with 34 points, only behind Real Madrid, who leads with 37. This round’sadversary, the Villarreal, is the fourth placed with 29 points and seeks another three points to reach Sevilla, who’s in third, with 33.

In his career, Neymar Jr. has faced Sevilla seven times and remains unbeaten. Playing for the Catalan club, the ‘yellow submarine’ was the team in which NJr most scored goals, shaking the net eight times. Also, in their last three encounters, NJr scored five goals against the adversary. Given his good historic in the duel, will he score one more this time?
