Tite makes his first National Brazilian Team call-up
Soon after conquering the golden medal in the Olympic Games, the National Brazilian team is already thinking in their next challenges. With the mind in the 2018’s World Cup Qualifications, the coach Tite makes his first call-up for the National Brazilian Team, this Monday (22), at the CBF headquarters.
The newest National Team’s coach chose for the first time the group that will defend Brazil in the Qualification’s next two duels. Tite said that the list was decided before the great victory at Maracanã, so many players from the Olympic Team were not selected.
Even though, names like Neymar Jr., Gabigol, Gabriel Jesus, Renato Augusto and Weverton remained. As for the novelties, players like Taison, Paulinho and Fagner appeared as a surprise for the main team.
Brazil is in sixth place in the World Cup’s qualifications, with nine points and seeks a good result against Ecuador, in September one, at the Atahualpa Stadium and day six, at the Arena Amazonia, against Colombia.
