Seeking a necessary a victory, Brazil will face Denmark
After two scoreless draws in a row at Mané Garrincha, the Brazilian Olympic Football Team needs a victory to be qualified for the Olympic Games’ second phase. Neymar Jr. and his teammates will give everything they got against Denmark, in Salvador, at the Fonte Nova Stadium, this Wednesday (10), by 22h (Brazilian Time).
The Brazilian team made a scoreless draw in their debut against South Africa and another one in their second duel, this time against Iraq. After two complicated matches, Rogério Micale’s team needs to win Group A’s last game, against Denmark, to conquer a chance to advance to the quarterfinals.
This will be Neymar Jr.’s first game against Denmark and he comes with a hunger for goals, since he did not score in his last three games. Brazil’s number 10 has already played four times in Salvador and twice at Fonte Nova, shaking the net once in the stadium. Now he returns to the pitch with the mission of helping his teammates to remain in the fight for the golden medal.
