PSG faces Caen in Ligue 1
Leading the French championship with a fifteen point lead and a game less than second-placed (Lille), PSG enters the field on Saturday (03/02) for the 27th round to face Caen in the stadium D'ONORO at 17h (local). PSG have 68 points in the Ligue One, while Caen are in the relegation zone, 18th with only 20 points.
Without Neymar Jr, who is recovering from injury suffered in January, Thomas Tuchel's team must spare a few players looking for the Champions League Round of 16 game against Manchester United on 03/06. Italian Buffon and Brazilian Thiago Silva may be some of the athletes who will not enter the field.
"It is our duty and challenge to focus 100% on Caen and to play with quality and seriousness, as we did in the last games, I trust my players, I know they will be serious, we have goals. There are a few things we want to work on so we have no reason to lose our focus on Caen. We want to win there, we have to play seriously, show a lot of quality. The team showed great things in training yesterday, so I'm confident. Our challenge is to stay calm and avoid distractions. Caen fights for survival, so I expect a team that does its best tomorrow. It's up to us to make a difference, "said the coach at the traditional press conference before the matches.
