Neymar Jr. is the third biggest Brazilian top-scorer in Champions League’s history
Neymar Jr’s phase on Paris Saint-Germain keeps bringing good fruits to his career. With the beautiful goal he scored in the game against Anderlecht, for the Champions League, last Tuesday (31), Neymar Jr. has become the third biggest Brazilian top-scorer in the history of the European league.
With 25 goals and 42 games throughout five editions that the player participated, he surpassed Elber (24 goals), and tied Jadel’s number. If PSG’s number 10 shake the net another six times in the tournament, he will exceed Jardel, Rivaldo (27 goals) and Kaka (30), becoming the biggest Brazilian top-scorer in the Champions League history.
In the current season of the competition, Neymar Jr. scored four goals and gave five assistances in four games, maintaining PSG’s invincibility. The French team is the biggest scorer in the season, so far and never suffered any goals.
