Neymar Jr. is competing for the Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro 2015 award
Beyond being very talented, what is most impressive in Neymar Jr.’s career is his age. With only 23 years old, the athlete is already one of the greatest Brazilian National team and Barcelona top scorers. On October 13 (National Day of the Young), Neymar Jr. will be competing for the Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro award, prize that will pay homage to young talents.
Since April 13, a poll was launched at the PJB site, for the categories: Sports, TV, Music, Internet, Entertainment and Youngster of the Year. On August 22, the first stage of the poll was finished, selecting the 10 names indicated by the public, with Neymar Jr. among them.
Brazil’s captain is competing for two categories: Sports and Youngster of the Year. During the first step, on those two categories, the athlete acquired a record of votes. The PJB has a history of paying homage to athletes, like Kaká, Cesar Cielo, Arthur Zanetti and many others.
The poll will happen until October 13 and the ceremony party will happen on November 17, at the Palácio das Convenções do Anhembi, in São Paulo.
