National Brazilian Team faces Russia in their first friendly match of the year
The National Brazilian Team’s first step on their campaign to become the 2018 World Cup’s champions has already begun. Brazil enters the pitch, this Friday (23), at 13h (Brazilian time), to face the world championship’s host, Russia, in Moscow.
This will be the first match of the Brazilian National Team in the year and the first direct friendly duel in preparation for the championship, which starts on June 14. Coach Tite already trains his team to face the cold temperature of Moscow, focusing on guaranteeing an important victory.
In the last 24 years, the Brazilian National Team and the Russian National Team have faced each other five times: In 1994, 1996, 1998, 2006 and 2013. In the duel of March 1st, in 2006, the teams also played a friendly duel, in Moscow, where temperature reached -17 degrees.
