Brazil starts 2019 season with tie in friendly against Panama
Brazil drew 1-1 with Panama in a friendly held on Saturday afternoon (23) at Dragão Stadium in Porto, Portugal.
It was the first game of the Brazilian National Team of the season. Both goals of the match came out in the first half. Lucas Paquetá opened the scoring in the 31st minute for Brazil. Panama equalized four minutes later with Machado.
Despite the quality of the Brazilian team against a lesser opponent in world football, the game was more difficult than expected and National Team was unable to translate possession of the ball into goals.
Neymar Jr still in treatment of the injury in the fifth metatarsal of the right foot did not enter the field, but followed the game in the tribunes of the stadium.
The National Team returns to the field next Tuesday (26) in friendly against the Czech Republic in Prague.
