Brazil seeks victory against Iraq on their second game in the Olympics
The Brazilian Olympic Football Team may have failed to conquer a victory at their debut at the Mané Garrincha, but now the team has the opportunity to go back to the same stadium and change that. This Sunday (7), Neymar Jr. and his teammates will face Iraq, by 22h (Brazilian time), once again at Mané Garrincha, in their second chance of the first phase of 2016’s Olympic Games.
Last Thursday (4), Brazil and South Africa made a goalless draw in Brasília. Meanwhile, Denmark also made a draw by 0-0 against Iraq, leaving everything equal in Group A. Now Rogério Micale seeks to reorganize the team and conquer their first victory in the road for the Olympic Gold.
Neymar Jr. has never played against Iraq’s Olympic Team, but back in 2012, he did face the main team and won by 6-0. The player made a goal and gave two assistances, being one of the most important piece in the duel. Now NJr returns to the pitch to repeat his brilliance.
