Barcelona faces Osasuna outside home for La Liga
Leaving the pitch as winners after Champions League’s last game of the year, the FC Barcelona will have another diferente challenge ahead. The Catalan Team will face Osasuna, in La Liga’s 12th journey, at the Reyno de Navarra stadium, this Saturday (10), at 10h (Brazilian Time).
With the year coming to an end, the coach Luis Enrique already prepares his team for the final duels of 2016 and also to conquer a win after three consecutive draws in the competition. The available members from Barça A trained with nine athletes from Barça B, while Neymar Jr. is still suspended until the next game.
““We need to get off to a good start and that means playing well from the very first minute. We have to be effective with the ball,” said Luis Enrique in a press conference that happened this Friday. “Osasuna need to win, but so do we because we’re six points short of the lead. This isn’t any old game for us, the points couldn’t be more important.”
After the 1-1 draw in the classic against Real Madrid, Barcelona remains in second place in the Spanish Championship, with 28 points, only behind the merengues, who lead with 34 points. Sevilla is almost reaching the Catalan squad, in third place, with 27 points, making ‘Victory’ the only result meaningful for the azulgrana.
