Aiming at the Olympic Games, Neymar Jr. is back in training
Even during vacations, Neymar Jr. returned to train for the Olympic Games in Brazil. His personal trainer, Ricardo Rosa, has been training him since 2010, back when he trained at Santos FC. When the player went to Barcelona, in 2014, he started working with him on a daily basis.
According to Ricardo Rosa, Neymar Jr.’s training started slowly last week. This week, the player entered concentration and has been training twice a day. The personal trainer also explained that after the physical evaluation, the focus will be the athlete’s muscle structure, strenght training, respiratory work, running and training with the ball.
The Brazilian Olympic team will meet their new coach Rogério Micale, on July 18th, at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis. The team will train there until day 27 and then travels to Goiânia, where they will have a friendly match against Japan, in July 30. Home of 2016’s Olympic Games, Brazil will make its debut against South Africa, August four, in Brasília.
